A complete water treatment project involves multiple pipes, and the appropriate materials need to be selected according to different functions and media. The specific selection basis is as follows:
(1) drainage.
Welded steel pipe is used to treat municipal sewage, sludge pipe, air pipe, return pipe, overflow pipe, exhaust pipe, slag discharge (sand) pipe, etc.
Construction requirements are strong. Welded steel pipe or PP pipe is used for the water surface of the air duct. The corrosion of sewage should be thoroughly considered in the underwater part, and ABS should be selected. UPVC. HDPE or stainless steel tube.
(2) tube.
Solid PVC(PV(-U) water inlet pipe or PE pipe can be selected.
(3) Water supply pipeline.
Pipes can use plastic water supply pipe, plastic metal composite pipe, copper pipe, stainless steel pipe and anti-corrosion steel pipe.
If there is no special requirement, solid polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) is commonly used.
PE tubes, hot melt or flanges are also available for connection. The hot melt PPR tube (S2 class) is connected with the hot melt, making it easier to install the PPR tube.
It is not suitable to use plastic pipes for water supply risers in high-rise buildings. Galvanized steel pipe (wire connection for short paths, welding above DN50mm) can be used. Two layers of epoxy coal asphalt paint should be brushed for buried parts and silver powder should be brushed for indoor parts.

(4) Outdoor drainage.
Concrete pipe or reinforced concrete pipe can be used for outdoor drainage pipe, material sheet indicated level two or level three, cement mortar and strip joints.
Buried plastic drainpipe (PVC-U), HDPE pipe (HDPE pipe diameter greater than 160mm), rigid PVC (PVC-U) drainpipe (HDPE pipe diameter greater than 160mm), glass fiber reinforced plastic sand pipe or steel pipe (diameter ≥300mm).
Indoor drainpipes are typically less than 300mm in diameter. PVC-U is recommended for drainage and bonding.
(5) Corrosion of sewage drainpipe.
Corrosion-resistant materials should be used for corrosive sewage pipes, and anti-corrosion measures should be taken for interfaces and auxiliary structures.
PVC-U water supply pipe or drain pipe, landfill leachate can choose HDPE pipe.
Corrosive organic wastewater. Alkaline sewage pipe can be made of stainless steel material, concentrated sulfuric acid can be made of carbon steel anticorrosive, 10%H2SO4, 30%NaOH stainless steel 316L or UPVC, 20%NaOH can also be used for water PP-R pipe.
PTFE tubes are suitable for acidic wastewater.
(6) elevated temperature waste water pipe.
CPVC, ozone and tail pipe, pure oxygen pipe, valve material adopts pure oxygen pipe. The valve material is 316L stainless steel.
(7) rain pipe.
Cement pipe (diameter 300mm), reinforced concrete pipe (diameter ≥700mm), socket hose, Class II pipe, sand base)UPVC(HDPE) pipe (diameter ≤ 300mm) or high-density polyethylene (less than 300mm).
(8) Ventilation and deodorization.
Exhaust pipe. Deodorize with FRP glass fiber.
